As we approach year’s-end, here’s a list of materials donated, Named Special Collections built, a bit of news and some swell new items that arrived at ARC.
First, and most importantly, we’ll be moving to our 24,000 sq ft new home in upstate New York in the New Year. Details to follow when all the lawyers are smiling.

• Bill Bahlman Collection – Major 80s DJ (Anvil, Hurrahs, Danceteria), photographer and AIDs activist, who ran 99 records label and the store in NYC – to date we’ve catalogued 1,253 of his punk singles and 509 pop singles – so much more to come!
• Lee Bishop – 3,500 Bluegrass and C&W LPs.
• Tim Broun – 118 LPs, 432 singles, Liquid Liquid song list Nov. 19, 2008 at Santos Party House, signed Kansas LP, and various odds and ends donated by our archivist.
• Joan Butcher – 6 sheet music magazines, 167 pieces of sheet music.
• Debra Cattani – 7 LPs
• John Delgatto – 340 US CDs, 60 EU CDs.
• Estate of Carl D’Errico – Acclaimed songwriter, composer, musician, and actor donated his studio equipment, including Tannoy speakers Gold five (2 sets), a Yamaha key board, Bluebird mikes, Element 24, Stanton turn table, Tone generator Yamaha Mu 128, M audio control, AKG earphones, Denon tape deck, Onkyo radio/CD, Furman power conditioner, Focusrite scarlett 22 (monitor) and some CD makers. We’d have gotten his guitar, but Bruce Springsteen took it!
• Michael Friedman – Mostly activist, worker’s rights and protest material from the 1960s, including 41 Sing Out Magazines, 27 songbooks and 2 pocket sized IWW (Wobbly) songbooks.
• Doris Ghitelman – 780 LPs, 565 seven-inch singles.

Out of the blue we got this Ukrainian pressing of the Beatles “Love Me Do” on
x-ray film from the 1960’s.
• Peter Glazer – 205 seven-inch singles, 40 Portland Oregon concert handbills, late 1960; 62 Oregon radio station surveys and giveaways.

• Alan Grossman – 502 seven-inch singles, 88LPs, 2 fanzines and 6 Elvis Tee Shirts

• Thomas Helmacy – 2,413 seven-inch singles, 720 LPs, 61 eight inch vinyl 45rpm Lang-worth compilation Eps, 44 ten-inch LPs.
• Dr. Ronald D. Hennessey – 21 seven-inch singles
• Nancy Bookman Hoffman – 83 ten-inch 78rpm shellac discs. Wall Hangings of Million Dollar Record Sales, and a remarkable set of eleven Dizzy Gillespie Original Orchestrations, written in hand by Mr. Gillespie, including “A Night In Tunisia.”
• Wilbur Houghtaling – 1,226 fab Hillbilly 78rpm 10”shellac discs.
• Eric David Johnson – 21 ten-inch 78rpm shellac discs, 33 CDs, 6 VHS, 1 DVD, 69 LPs.
• William Johnson – 6,000 jazz recordings

This just in! 72 autographed photos from a remarkable collection of 50’s and 60’s concert show programs from the Charlotte Coliseum in North Carolina.
