Happy 4th! and Hello to the Newbies

I’m off for San Francisco, but leaving a pile of patriotic cupcakes for all the great new batch of interns that are hard at work as we enter the second half of the season (baseball talk).

Pictured above is: Brendan, a recent graduate from Purchase College who has studied classical guitar; Sean a music industry student at SUNY Oneonta; Hannah, majoring in  American Studies and Philosophy at Kenyon College; Alyssa, a visual art and art history at Columbia; and John, studying Liberal Arts with concentrations in Nonfiction Writing and Jazz Performance at Sarah Lawrence.  Not pictured: Ursula, studying Information Science at Pratt and Seth, just helping out because he likes us.  Note that they were so hard at work that they couldn’t spare the time to face the camera…  What a crew.  Lucky us!

Speaking of Newbies, have a gander at the swell Rock-Ola 78 rpm jukebox recently donated.  It’s out on San Francisco also, so they’ll be a full report on this spectacular item and the discs that came with it as soon as I can have a proper look-see.

Meanwhile Fred and Alex are in charge here in NYC, so give them a call for any of your ARChivin’ questions or needs.
