Yes, folks, my “New Edison-style Cup Phonograph Kit” has arrived safe and sound.  Now, when you send your contest entries in, I should be able to listen to them.  (If you’re just finding our blog, I launched the “Greatest Contest Ever” a little while back.  Cicking on the link here will take you to that initial announcement.)  Boy, doesn’t the box make it look fancy!

It didn’t come with instructions in English (even though the website said it WOULD come with English instructions), so I emailed the company I got it from to see if I could get some.  I will wait until I’ve heard back from before I attempt to put it together.  I will keep you posted.
