This playlist has been lovingly assembled by ARChivist Tim Broun as he began cataloging the first one hundred thousand 45’s here at the ARChive of Contemporary Music. As we do everyday, each record is individually processed, the donor noted, and in some cases we actually listen to them! As 45’s are cataloged, it’s easy enough to jump over to YouTube to sample them, and before you know it, you have a playlist. 

Inspired by our patron saint of radio, Debbie Daughtry, over at Boss Radio 66 (who we support wholeheartedly), we’re quite pleased to present ARCology: Music From A Deep Dig At The Archive of Contemporary Music, Vol. 1. The list can be played from top-to-bottom, or on shuffle. There’s no wrong way to listen!
