A long time ago, back in my Hollywood daze, I was asked to DJ for a movie’s wrap party. The movie was produced by Paramount pictures, and the people who hired me told me that I had to go get my check from an office on the Paramount lot on the following Monday. So I did.
After I picked up the check, I was walking down the hall of the building, when I saw a familiar face walking toward me. I didn’t expect to see anyone I knew, so I just smiled and said “hey,” and the familiar face did the same, as if we were pretty good acquaintances, if not quite friends.
As I walked out of the building, I realized who this person was. It was Leonard Nimoy!

How fantastically cool. Mr Nimoy was my favourite character on those first series of Star Trek. He had an educated contemplative style about him that conveyed his intelligence and humour. May he rest in peace now. He lives forever more on our screens.
