Interns + volunteers

We couldn’t survive without interns and volunteers!

Many kind folks offer their time, skills and energy to help us in a variety of tasks. About twenty different people help out every year, mostly students. We’re always on the lookout for people with special skills and good ideas.

Here are the things we’ll be working on in 2019:

       • cataloging sound recordings and books- this will be the main focus this year.  The number of donated materials is staggering and this year we need to catch up!

  • developing + managing better social media outreach
  • organizing + cataloging our 10,000 plus Punk 45 collection

Please contact us if you would like to help.

Call, mail, e-mail and do send a CV/résumé. ARC general information: info@arcmusic.org

Head archivist Fred Patterson in in charge of cataloging and everyone here looks at intern applications.

ARC works with many schools and universities and welcome students working independently and earning credit. Let us know what you are interested in working on. The more hours you are able to volunteer, the more responsibility we can give you. In general we ask for 2-3 days a week, in at least a 4-hour block. All internships are unpaid.
